The Veteran Talent Exchange (VTX) is a cloud-based technology solution powered by Avature that facilitates the sharing and referral of veteran candidates among members of 100,000 Jobs Mission companies who elect to participate. The Veteran Talent Exchange helps employers manage interactions with veteran job seekers and organizes and synchronizes veteran career pipelines for candidate outreach.

The VTX was established to leverage the power of the 100,000 Jobs Mission coalition to increase the numbers of veterans matched with career opportunities. This tool empowers us to help fellow 100,000 Jobs Mission employers access top veteran talent for their respective hiring needs. We want to optimize the recruiting process for veterans who apply to work at our companies. If one company is not able to find a fit for veteran job seekers at a particular time, they can now refer them to opt-in to the Veteran Talent Exchange and be considered by other military-friendly employers within the 100,000 Jobs Mission. The Veteran Talent Exchange enables us to centralize military candidate pipelines in one database so multiple companies can access them.

Veterans may opt into to the 100,000 Jobs Mission Veteran Talent Exchange by visiting www.vtx.jobs from any computer or mobile device. They complete the form with information about their military service, career interests and contact information.

Veterans who opt-in to the Talent Exchange will receive newsletters, interview tips and career guidance from employers committed to hiring veterans. Later this year we will be hosting webinars on helpful job search topics such as resume writing, interview tips and using social media in your job search. Depending on employers’ recruiting needs, veterans may receive emails from 100,000 Jobs Mission employers inviting them to apply for jobs or attend events and info sessions based on their career profile or resume content.
